Classes in traditional Reiki include:
Level 1 ~ Practitioner; focus on physical and self-healing.
Level 2 ~ Level 2 Practitioner; focus on mental and emotional healing.
Level 3 ~ Master/Teacher; focus on health and healing on the spiriatual and soul level.

From Beginner to Level 3 ~ Master
(Practical Reiki classes also earn 8 Continuing Education Units for Registered Nurses.)

The Reiki Principles

With guided support, you will have the opportunity to determine your true Life Goals and work toward them. You will discover more of who you are from soul-searching sessions and learn basic skills that will help you listen and speak mindfully so that you, and those with whom you live and work, are both heard and understood.
In addition to guided support, as needed, we will also incorporate energy work, meditation and relaxation plus art therapy into the sessions, giving you the opportunity for further examination and growth.

I will work with you to help you determine what is most important to you in your life. Together we will design a list of goals that are believable and achievable for you. Through such tools as journaling, visioning, relaxation and meditation, you will be able to understand and reintegrate parts of yourself that may have been wounded during any past traumas. Then we will create your personal roadmap for attaining the future and relationships you want.
During coaching, as in any relationship, you will get from our time together exactly what you put into it. My role is to teach you success skills. Your role is to be open to possibilities and try them on for size. From this relationship, you will receive an opportunity that can ignite your self-esteem, motivate your personal best efforts, and carry you to your desired goals.
Self-awareness is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. The spiritual and healing practices of relaxation and meditation will give you the building blocks necessary to discover your inner wisdom and the truth of who you are.
Experience the tranquility and that will reemerge and the inner healing you will experience during this gentle healing practice. When deeply relaxed, your body will recall its natural state and allow you to release the obstacles keeping you from feeling complete, wholly alive and being the unique gift that is you.
To achieve these goals, I use a blend of traditional Reiki and Pranic Healing.
Developed by Mikao Usui In Japan in the early 1900's, Reiki (pronounced ray-key) means "universal life energy". The body has an energy field that is central to its health and proper functioning, and this energy travels through pathways that can become blocked or weakened. Reiki involves the simple, gentle placement of hands on or above particular parts of the body including organs, glands and joints in order to create a smooth flow of energy throughout the body and facilitate relaxation and healing.

Pranic Healing is a highly evolved and tested system of energy medicine developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui that utilizes Prana, or life force, to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes. This invisible bio-energy keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health.
Pranic healing is a simple yet powerful and effective system of no-touch energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principle that the body possesses the innate ability to heal itself. Pranic healing works on the principle that the healing process is accelerated by increasing the life force on the physical body.
Pranic healing is applied on the bio-electromagnetic field known as the aura which surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. Art is healing, therapeutic, spiritual, connecting, grounding, inspirational, enlightening and empowering.
Art Therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve a person's physical, mental and emotional well-being. The creative process involved in expressing one's self artistically can help people to resolve issues as well as develop and manage their behaviors and feelings, reduce stress and improves self-esteem and awareness.
In a world where there is a multitude of ways to communicate and express one's self, expressive arts therapy is yet another. One of the primary differences between art therapy and other forms of communication is that most other forms of communication elicit the use of words or language as a means self-expression. Often, people are incapable of expressing themselves within this limited range.
Do you need to be talented?
Absolutely not. And you don't need to be "afraid" of expressing yourself through art. The creative process can be extremely freeing as well as rewarding. The goal is not to create an artistic masterpiece, but to help you be the masterpiece that you are.
